MAB Insulations Kft., part of the 100% Hungarian-owned MAB Group, is establishing a rock wool insulation manufacturing plant in Kisnána.
As part of the EUR 23.1 million investment by the MAB Group—one of Hungary’s largest privately owned mining and construction materials companies—a rock wool insulation plant will be built with a maximum production capacity of up to 50,000 tonnes. The project in Heves County will create 110 new jobs.
The development, implemented with the support of the Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency (HIPA), will be carried out at the existing quarry site of MAB Tarnóca Kft. near Kisnána, ensuring direct access to the key raw material required for production.
Over the past 2.5 years, the MAB Group has already established a briquetting and concrete products plant at the site, enabling the recycling of waste generated during rock wool production in the form of concrete products.
