The infrastructural development of Binder Ipari Szerkezetépítő Kft. in Csönge further strengthens the region’s economic growth.
Austrian company Binder Ipari Szerkezetépítő Kft., specializing in the production of metal structures, is investing €8 million, primarily aimed at expanding the capacity of its metal sheet and steel structure manufacturing division.
The investment concentrates on the technological and infrastructural development of the Csönge site. In addition to establishing new office buildings and production facilities, the existing manufacturing areas are also being modernized. The machinery lineup is being expanded with an automatic shot-blasting machine to enable more efficient surface cleaning, while a fiber laser system allows for precise metal processing.
Production currently takes place on approximately 20,000 m² across three product groups. All Hungarian production is exported abroad, including the United States, Canada, and Australia. Binder’s customers operate in a wide range of industries, from energy production to sugar, paper, and cement manufacturing, as well as the pharmaceutical and wood industries. Three-quarters of the suppliers for the Csönge plant are Hungarian, generating significant exports that improve the trade balance and enhance the prestige of the domestic industry.
Through the installation of solar panels and heat pumps as part of the investment, the Vas County plant will cover 20% of its energy needs from renewable sources, strengthening its sustainability efforts and environmentally friendly operations.
Binder Ipari Szerkezetépítő Kft. employs nearly 100 people at its site and develops its workforce through a dual vocational training program.
