Record-level expansion in the Bük plant of Nestlé

This project is another significant stage of the continuous development, during which Nestlé has invested more than HUF 80 billion into the expansion and modernization of its Hungarian plants. More than half of this is made up of the investments implemented in Bük. Since 2010, the company has spent more than HUF 40 billion on the development of Hungarian animal food production, and created more than 500 new jobs.
The planned date of the opening of the investment project, which has been the greatest in the history of Nestlé Hungária Kft., being concluded by the third round of capacity expansion after two previous ones in 2011 and 2013, is the end of 2017, by when the number of employees in the production unit will reach 1000 people.
