Leading Chinese ICT Company is Set to Establish its Largest European Operation in Kisbér

FiberHome plans to invest around EUR 17.5 million to build its largest European base. The new facility in Kisbér will manufacture optical cables and is expected to create 120 new jobs.
Founded in 1999, FiberHome is a provider of information and communication network products and solutions. As a global leader in the ICT sector, the company operates in Africa, the Asia-Pacific region, Europe and Latin America. It has established sales and service systems in over 50 countries and runs 11 global delivery centers.
FiberHome is currently present in Hungary through its distributor, supplying regional and national telecom companies such as Magyar Telekom and MVM, with MÁV also among its partners.
The Chinese company has now announced that it expands its presence in Hungary by establishing its largest European manufacturing base through a brownfield investment in Komárom-Esztergom County. The new Kisbér facility, with an investment of around EUR 17.5 million, will produce optical cables.
The operation is set to create 120 new jobs.
