Hungarian industrial automation and process control specialist Controlsoft Automatika Kft. is set to establish a regional service center in Veszprém.

Controlsoft will build a development center and a test facility on an 11,000-square-meter site in Veszprém (western Hungary), equipped with solar panels and a heat pump system.

Supported by the HIPA Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency, the EUR 6.2 million investment will create 25 high value added jobs.

The Hungarian-owned technology company was founded in 1991 and is one of the leading players in industrial process control, system supervision, and automation technologies. Among other projects, the company developed the runway lighting control system at Budapest’s Ferenc Liszt International Airport. It has completed thousands of successful projects and gained international experience across 12 countries on three continents.

HIPA was established in 2014 as a national investment promotion organisation, governed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. The agency’s most important task is to provide professional assistance to foreign and Hungarian companies wishing to invest in Hungary. Between 1 January 2014 and 31 December 2025, HIPA guided 2,305 projects with a value of more than 66 billion euros to create close to 187,000 new jobs.
