New Floor Manufacturing Plant To Put Graboplast On Growth Track

Hungarian-owned Graboplast celebrated the official opening of its brand-new SPC floor manufacturing plant worth over HUF 1.1 billion in Tatabánya. With demand rising in the modern floor covering segment, the newly installed production capacities are set to secure stable growth for the company.
CEE’s leading special floor manufacturing company with a history of nearly 120 years, Graboplast Zrt. is present in around 100 countries with its products. With the purpose of ramping up production, Graboplast now finished building a new plant to manufacture new generation floor coverings.
The newly inaugurated 2,400 square meter facility worth over HUF 1.1 billion will allow to make innovative SPC (stone polymer composite) floor coverings that can serve both retail and business needs. SPC sales figures predict steep growth of a factor of four in the next 5 years, whereas this year related revenues should hit 8% of the total annual volume. The plant will run with a capacity of 500,000 square meters per year that can be further expanded at a later point.
SPC floor coverings are 100% recyclable and made with zero-waste production technology.
