The current announcement marks the third large investment wave announced by the company since 2020 with the aim of developing the pet food unit. The new plant is expected to have a capacity of 100,000 tons, and as Péter Noszek, managing director of Nestlé Hungária added, the investment will not only create 250 jobs, but it is also set to drive demand since this way the volume of agricultural material from Hungarian suppliers can continue to soar.
